Connecting Tooth and Implant in Certain Cases - Is it an acceptable treatment? Heres a literature !

When I was taught implants, my professors shunned me from connecting Implants to natural teeth.

However, is this marriage possible? Certain authors say yes and some say nay.

Is there literature available on this? Very few

They say such connection can drastically affect the implant success or rather can cause intrusion of the natural teeth.

How about precision attachments for this purpose when u don have any other options?
